my asus 500 is broken... died after 3 years :( I used Ext2explore to get the data from the disk which i used with the asus500. Ext2explore is easy to use. One executeable from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2read/ and you can browse your ext3fs on your windowsmachine.
