so what is the difference?

Live Mesh gives you the possibility to sync files without restriction in the sum of size of all files. you can choose to sync files without using the online space. SkyDrive is the name of the online space, which is 5GB big. Syncing without using SkyDrive is only done when the systems (microsoft call it devices) are online at the same time. So if your systems are never online at the same time your files will never be synced.

Keep in mind: Microsoft stopped support for Windows XP (Live Mesh Beta supported xp, but will shut down in 03/2011), but they support MacOSX (>10.5):

If you chosse DropBox you are limited to the size of the online space, which is initial 2GB big. Advantage: you can sync with mobile devices and windows xp, linux, MacOS, Android, Blackbarry, Iphone, Ipad, ... And the best: There are free ressources for developer in multiple languages. https://www.dropbox.com/developers/releases# . It seems that microsoft dropped their plans with Live Framework CTP without publishing something new (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/liveframework/).

Most things in Austria terestical TV got encrypted since DVB-T got shut down, but there are still three TV channels and three Radio Channels unencrypted. I had some hard time to find out how to get it working using linux... and non existing documentation of the sender did not help. Howerver... if you have use for detailed channel setup arround vienna, take a look: Tvheadend seems to lack channel search support using DVB-T2, but puzzeling every value together works fine: Mux A-WNB Channel Frequency: 498000000 Bandwitdh: 8MHz Constellation; QAM/16 Mux B2 Channel Frequency: 578000000 Bandwitdh: 8MHz Constellation; QAM/16 Unstable Twin Tuner I am using some twin tuner. That was not supported on older kernel version, but is now supported on current versions. Great? nope. The system/tvheadend gets unstable if two tuner are enabled running for weeks. pdf to dxf

if you get a cad plan in pdf format you have a problem: Pdf can not be loaded in most cad programs. I used pstoedit to solve this problem. Pstoedit is a free tool to convert pdfs to dxf. What you have to do: Install pstoedit Install ghostscript shot at your pdfs: pstoedit.exe <pdfSource> <dxfOutput> -f dxf thanks to the author of pstoedit!
